Well, that's what it feels like to me.

Been working on and off on this project for a while, but I think I have it all down to an exact science (yeah right). Aright, one, two, one, two, going in live!

It's been a crazy year so far, with all these unelected bureaucrats around the world with single-digit IQs (that's the only explanation I can come up with after reviewing their self-destructive policies) who want to police the world. Between payment processors effectively destroying indie game distribution with unreasonable demands to those shady supposed "feminists" from Straya having an absolute shit-flinging tantrum bad enough to be heard from across the Specific Ocean... yeap, messed up.

This is why I decided to conduct research into establishing spaces where they can never control.

Multiple false starts caused by IRL being dimicky, protocol mismatches, trying to figure out how to use CSS and an entire boss battle with ruffle later, I think I have the solution for making absolutely sure that no payment processor, no whiny karenotron, not even mark zuckyborg mcbuttface v1.15b that can stop me!

It's just a simple html page with a link leading to another html page with an embedded swf file. Turns out I was REALLY rusty on my html and some things I had learned in my childhood simply do not apply anymore hawhawhaw. What a world, eh? I'll keep this server running for a few days to live-test my !!SCIENCE!!. If you find any issues with it, let me know in the comments!

Also, Sex Kitten NUKE'EM's photography is all done. Next up is the GUI, inventory system and items, and the first test of the new and improved world map system that's a lot more interactive than just a static "you are here" screen we had last time.

Also, I've finally put together a plan to monetize my works WITHOUT having to follow the puritan decrees set by sketchy corporate knuckleheads, whiny feminists and the orthodoxy of poopypal. I'll keep to my original methods - most of my games will remain free to download and play, with payment being entirely optional. (that was a thing on itch.io too) And if I make a full premium game for sale, it'll be at shareware software prices right outta the 1980s (yes, I did my research on that).

So when the out-of-touch feminist estupidas at Collective Shart tried to harass gamers, it put their entire organization under a spotlight of global scrutiny, with people from all over the place auditing and running background checks on these helicopter moms on steroids and within the first week, we had enough dirt that could put away people for racketeering and extortion.

That'd be the end of it, right? Sadly, no - in this supposedly "progressive world" of theirs, not only payment processors quickly bend the knee for them after a supposed 'thousand calls' campaign, but then they go and have a meltdown over the weeks as their entire ugly footprint is analyzed and taken apart by people around the world. Turns out, this "grassroots movement" is anything but, and that discovery has caused them to go full STASI.

Just look at them go. It's like they think they're still in control.

The last guy to tell me to screw my freedoms ended up ""apologizing"", but I doubt these insufferable failures of the human genome will even do that much.

After all, their job was to be the scapegoat, to direct attention away - but you know how it is when tech-illiterates, spoiled brats from gated communities and geriatric legislators with a handful of brain cells rattling around in their skulls get together to censor the net - their entire scam collapses like a house of cards in the wind.

It's always these unelected dumbasses trying to dictate how people should behave. And as I've said before, it was never about safety. If it was, roblox would have been demolished first by the payment processors - not game devs.

As if their absolutely disgusting enabling of ROBLOX of all things wasn't bad enough, Poopypal's escalated their little thief scams into studio-breaking smash-and-grabs. I would have been octoscrewed in the eyesockets if I had gone commercial with steam.

Honestly, it's no wonder that most mature/adult games on steam are quick asset flips and fast-fried games with no real quality control. Someone makes a GOOD mature/adult game? BAM. Poopypal might just rob you of every coin ya made. No one wants to run that sort of risk.

These cretins go on and on about "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!" and let me tell you - the memetic laws exist for a reason. To absolutely no one's surprise, THIS stuff happened.
